Porsche Panamera GTS - BTCC 2023

The Porsche Panamera GTS was the safety car for the 2023 British Touring Car Championship season. It donned its carmine red colour scheme during the season. Porsche was also celebrating 75 years that year which showcased its many cars throughout the year at various events. This shot was taken on the 18th June 2023 for the British F4 race at Oulton Park.

The 2023 Formula One World Championship used the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series as their official safety car for the 2023 British Grand Prix. It featured in its CrowdStrike red livery and was driven by well known F1 safety car driver Bernd Maylander. This was taken at the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit during a support series race going down the Hamilton Straight.

The 2024 Formula One World Championship saw the use of the Aston Martin Vantage safety car being used as the official safety car of the 2024 British Grand Prix with the car shown in its iconic British Racing Green colour. This was taken as the safety car was making its way around Brooklands with the crowd in the background looping its way around to Luffield. Interestingly, the safety car never made an appearance during the main Grand Prix on Sunday.

The British Truck Racing Championship saw a DAF truck being used as its official pace truck in charge of leading the field to green at the start of races. It featured a red and blue livery inspired by one of the championship’s sponsor TRR Truck and Trailer Parts

BTRC DAF Pace Truck - 2024

The BMW M3 served as the official safety car of the Bennets British Superbike Championship for the 2024 season. Taken at the second Donington Park round at that season making its way through turn one.
